By using our website, submitting a reservation request, making a reservation, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Rental Reservations

Golf cart rentals are subject to availability. Submission of an inquiry or reservation request does not guarantee availability until the reservation has been confirmed by Destin Golf Cart Rentals.

Rental rates, availability, seasonal pricing, taxes, and other charges are subject to change. The rates applicable to a confirmed reservation will be communicated at the time of booking.

Certain rentals may require the renter to complete and sign a separate rental agreement, waiver, or other documentation. In the event of a conflict between these website Terms and a signed rental agreement relating specifically to the rental or operation of a golf cart, the signed rental agreement will control with respect to that rental.

Driver Requirements

Golf carts may only be operated by authorized drivers who:

• Are at least 25 years of age;
• Possess a valid driver’s license;
• Meet any additional requirements contained in the applicable rental agreement; and
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

The renter is responsible for ensuring that the golf cart is not operated by an unauthorized or unqualified driver.

Safe and Lawful Operation

Our golf carts are street-legal vehicles intended to be operated responsibly and in accordance with applicable Florida and local laws.

Golf carts may only be operated on roads and in locations where their operation is legally permitted. Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law, renters should not operate the golf cart on roads with posted speed limits greater than 35 MPH.

Renters and authorized drivers are responsible for obeying all traffic laws, parking regulations, signage, community rules, and other applicable requirements.

Golf carts may not be operated on beaches, sidewalks, pedestrian pathways, or other prohibited areas.

Drivers must not operate a golf cart while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, or any other substance or condition that affects the ability to operate the vehicle safely.

Passengers and Seat Belts

The number of passengers may not exceed the designed seating capacity of the golf cart.

Passengers should remain properly seated while the vehicle is moving, and seat belts must be used when provided or required by law.

The renter is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation and supervision of children and other passengers and for complying with applicable child-restraint requirements.

Delivery and Pickup

Destin Golf Cart Rentals offers delivery and pickup within designated service areas.

The renter is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that we have reasonable access to the designated property or delivery location.

Delivery availability outside our normal service area may vary and should be confirmed directly with Destin Golf Cart Rentals before booking.

Cancellation and Refunds

Unless different terms are stated at the time of booking or in a separate rental agreement, reservations canceled at least 7 days before the scheduled rental date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled rental date may be subject to different refund terms, cancellation charges, or forfeiture of amounts paid, as specified at the time of booking or in the applicable rental agreement.

Weather conditions alone do not necessarily make a street-legal golf cart unusable or entitle a renter to a refund. Any weather-related cancellation or refund will be handled according to the applicable reservation or rental agreement.

Rental Vehicle Condition, Damage, and Responsibility

Renters are responsible for treating rental vehicles with reasonable care and returning them in the condition required by their rental agreement, ordinary wear and tear excepted.

The renter may be financially responsible for damage, loss, theft, excessive cleaning, missing equipment, towing, recovery expenses, or other costs resulting from the rental, as provided in the applicable rental agreement.

Any accident, collision, theft, damage, mechanical problem, or other significant issue involving a rental golf cart should be reported to Destin Golf Cart Rentals promptly.

Specific responsibility for damage, insurance, deductibles, deposits, repair charges, prohibited uses, and related matters will be governed by the applicable rental agreement.

Parking, Towing, Citations, and Fines

Renters are responsible for parking the golf cart legally and complying with the rules of vacation rental properties, neighborhoods, condominiums, resorts, businesses, municipalities, and other locations visited during the rental period.

The renter may be responsible for parking tickets, traffic citations, towing charges, impound fees, fines, penalties, or other expenses resulting from the renter’s or an authorized driver’s use of the golf cart.

Mechanical Problems

If a golf cart experiences a mechanical problem, the renter should discontinue operation when continued use could be unsafe or cause additional damage and contact Destin Golf Cart Rentals as soon as reasonably possible.

Renters should not attempt significant repairs, modifications, or alterations to a rental golf cart without authorization from Destin Golf Cart Rentals.

Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on our website accurate and current. However, pricing, availability, service areas, vehicle specifications, photographs, descriptions, and other website content may occasionally contain errors or become outdated.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update website information at any time.

Photographs on the website are representative and do not necessarily guarantee a particular golf cart, color, model, configuration, or accessory unless specifically confirmed as part of a reservation.

Text Messaging and SMS Terms

By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages from Destin Golf Cart Rentals, you agree that we may send text messages relating to your inquiry, reservation, rental, delivery, pickup, customer service, and other services you have requested.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed.
